Personal and Recreational Transportation
Whether you are traveling to visit friends and relatives, school, work, or just
going for a relaxing drive, the mode of transportation you choose is a personal
decision. In the winter months we are limited to a car, truck, or public transit
although it’s not unheard of for some to hop on a snowmobile and drive it to
work. During the milder months of the year the options broaden. Over 250,000
motorcycles are registered in the state and more than 441,000 state residents
have a Class M motorcycle driver's license. There are also mopeds, pedal bikes,
our own two feet, and there are some who commute via private planes and
helicopters.
